Hi, I’m Vitalis.

Founder & Creative Director, FRAMEFORWARD

1. 2009

   At seven years old, I left Cameroon and came to the UK.

2. Age 14

   I started going to the studio at the Rose Bowl on Essex Road to make music. I spent many hours there learning and developing my craft — it’s where my creative side took shape.

3. Age 16

   I went into the working world. In customer service I found a passion for helping people — looking back, those were the early signs.

4. Parliament

   Relationships I built outside of work led me to working in Parliament.

5. The spark

   With that experience behind me, I landed a role as a security officer, where a colleague told me about Community Interest Companies. The more I looked into it, the more I saw my passions — helping people and creating — come together in one cause.

6. 2025

   While I was developing the ideas for FRAMEFORWARD, I went back to Cameroon for my grandmother’s funeral. I took my camera to capture the hardship and the life people face there, and carried out charitable work — living the values FRAMEFORWARD stands for and helping to bring positive change.

Where we’re going

My goal is to lead FRAMEFORWARD, and everyone who takes part, into a world of opportunity — through a carefully curated network of organisations, people and workshops that equip young people with the skills for an ever-changing world.

The digital age is changing before our eyes. With AI agents able to do more and more, young people can look at the future and struggle to see where they fit. But this is where the creative mind opens up, beyond what we can imagine. Our creative thinking is what makes each of us unique.
